Finned Tube
| Crossle Coils hold stock of Bi Metallic – Extruded Finned Tubes. These quality tubes are imported from an extremely reliable European manufacturer and are available in large or small quantities, enquire about lead times.
Being a Bi Metallic Tube the inner tube can be virtually any available material over which an aluminium Muff tube is fitted, fins are Extruded from the Muff tube and the pressure required to extrude the fins provides a positive bond between the primary (tube) and the secondary (fins). Extruded fins DO NOT unravel as can happen with some embedded or wound fin tubes. Many Older Coils manufactured for Timber Kilns, Laundry Dryers etc. utilised Individual Finned Tubes and replication of these heat exchangers may require the use of Individual finned tubes.
