Crossle Coils manufacture a range of Direct Expansion cooling coils to suit Customer Specifications/Drawings, or they can be built to sample for retrofitting.
Refrigerant is introduced to the cooling coil through some form of expansion device. The expansion device reduces both the pressure and the temperature of the refrigerant to some point colder than the air stream that is passing over the coil.
Circuit and Distributor along with feeder pipe lengths are all taken into account to ensure even refrigerant distribution to each circuit and maximum heat transfer capability of the selected coil.
DX Coils are generally constructed with copper tubes and headers with Aluminium fins ranging from 236 fins/mtr to 472 fins/mtr. Other materials of construction are available including stainless steel.
